Jamie Johnson is a Sydney based illustrator who has contributed cover art to comic titles such as The Phantom for Frew Publications (Australia), Hermes Press (USA) and Lightning Strike Comics (Europe), Cult of Dracula (Source Point Press), Killeroo: Old Man Rufus (OzComics), Fractured Shards (Comics2Movies), Alien Samurai Dino Warriors (upcoming series by Dimitri Vegas and Michael Uslan), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the upcoming series The Lost Years: A Last Ronin Story for IDW Publishing.
When he is not creating dynamic covers for comics, he is illustrating storyboards (previous clients include Jack Daniels, The Sydney Royal Easter Show and V energy drink) as well as contributing interior art to board games (The Phantom: The Treasures of Drakkon).
Jamie is an ambassador for Copic Australia and has also recently teamed up with Wacom to deliver online drawing classes (through the NSW Government’s ‘Creative Kids’ initiative), as well as running his own illustration workshops based in Sydney’s Hills District.
