Synopsis:
In the near future, a group of scientists are preparing for the first test of an enormous engine, designed to bend space itself and make intergalactic travel not only possible, but instantaneous. In a world that is on the brink of disaster due to economic collapse, starvation and war, their invention could be humanity’s best hope to ensure its survival. During the test, the machine reveals a surprising side effect in that it appears to bend not only space but also time.
Their success is short-lived, however, as the discovery soon leads to fatal disaster. The project is immediately shut down leaving the disgraced group unable to complete their work.
Determined to explore the startling side effect of their machine, but without funding, the scientists must resort to criminal activity and the murky world of the underground to finance their operation as they attempt to rebuild their space time device.
