UPDATE 30/10/24: Due to unexpected illness, Phil Noto will unfortunately no longer be able to make his appearance at Supanova #99 in Adelaide.
After two enormous back-to-back tours across Australia’s East and West Coasts, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming isn’t leaving anything on the shelf as the convention juggernaut charges towards its upcoming celebration of one hundred sensational Supanova events, this November!
Leading the Supa-Star-studded celebrity announcements for their penultimate 99th show in Adelaide (2-3 November) and 100th three-day extravaganza in Brisbane (8-10 November) comes a must-meet from a galaxy far, far away… Supanova is proud to welcome Star Wars legend Anthony Daniels! The only actor to feature in every Star Wars theatrical release since 1977, Daniels portrays series mainstay and the droid you’ve been looking for, C-3PO, in the iconic franchise.
From science fiction to science fact, bestselling author and multi-Emmy Award-nominated Adam Savage will also make his first-ever appearance at the convention. The self-described “maker” is the former Co-Host and Executive Producer of MythBusters and the mastermind behind Adam Savage’s Tested, amassing nearly seven million subscribers on YouTube.
With part one of Cobra Kai’s hotly anticipated sixth and final season having just dropped on Netflix, Supanova presents Martin Kove a.k.a. John Kreese, ongoing series lead and main antagonist of the classic Karate Kid film trilogy. He is joined by fellow Netflix newcomer Steven John Ward, recently seen as the pirate Dracule Mihawk in the live-action adaption of One Piece.
Back on Aussie shores after an incredible outing in June comes Sunnydale’s vampiric bad boy James Marsters, best known for his role as Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Also set to make their own ‘Return of the King’ and Queen are The Lord of the Rings’ Faramir and Éowyn, David Wenham and Miranda Otto, the latter of whom will attend exclusively in Adelaide.

Alongside Smith, fans can meet international voice actors, Patricia Summersett, the titular Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom; and Ash Ketchum from Pokémon, Veronica Taylor, returning for the milestone event after guesting at the first-ever Supanova over two decades ago in 2002.
