Summer break is going well for teen Kelsea at her lakeside job, until she learns that she could be losing her house and going into foster care despite her loving father’s attempts tostay afloat.

But when a gigantic hormone-pumped crocodile begins to terrorise the lake, it becomes a mythical social media star! Kelsea sees an opportunity and enlists the help of her friends to get the best possible footage of TikCroc, without joining the growing list of its victims.

The elusive TikCroc continues to claim lives but people are still sceptical-is it all a PR stunt? As their small town becomes a tourist hotspot, even the corrupt Mayor rides the hoax wave to cover up for her shady associate -The Alpha- who created the monster to auction.

Animal control professional Milo and his bleeding-heart girlfriend Miss Singh seem to be the only people who care about the bloodshed. But when The Alpha hires Milo to recapture the crocodile, with the promise to pay off all his debts, Milo cannot turn down the job.

As the race to get the croc forges on, the city sets up a Croctober Fest to celebrate their newfound fame. Rushing to get footage before the croc becomes cringe, the teens find themselves stranded overnight in the lake with a horrific revelation. This could be it: Kelsea must face everything-her fear of water, her growing feelings for a friend, the possibility of moving away forever… and the giant crazy crocodile-that lurks in the lake, hungry for more flesh.

She might be the only one who can put a stop to this, she might also be the only one who can get close-up footage of the crocodile and her gory nest… Will there be blood? Confessions? Heroic rescues? Or will she lose it all? And the biggest question of all…Will it go viral?
