Plauditory to our name, we’re bringing the pop culture to Sydney and Perth in June, with further news of about our latest Supa-Star celebrities.
Fans of well-known video game and animation franchises will be delighted with voice acting legends Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect, Batman and Star Wars), Jess Harnell (Animaniacs, World of Warcraft, Transformers) and James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Batman: The Brave and the Bold).
They’re joined by Tom Wilson; iconic for playing Back to the Future’s Biff Tannen, Griff and “Mad Dog” Tannen, in addition to his other on-screen and voice acting credentials such as Batman: The Brave and the Bold. It’s also a Back to the Future team-up with Christopher “Doc” Lloyd already announced.
Comic book fanatics are also in for a treat with internationally renowned artists Mike Grell (Green Lantern/Green Arrow, Jon Sable), Whilce Portacio (The Punisher, X-Factor and co-creator of X-Men’s Bishop) and David Yardin (Jean Grey, Extraordinary X-Men, Injustice: Gods Among Us) leading a host of other talented artists and writers.
We’ve also secured the highly acclaimed, international best-selling authors Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn, The Wheel of Time, The Stormlight Archive) and James Dashner (The Infinity Ring, The Mortality Doctrine) whose series, The Maze Runner, has been translated to the big screen in a series of films.
Lastly, in a case of they’re “so hot right now”, Supanova has also had to share the sad news that Stranger Things guests Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla 2) and David Harbour (recently announced for the new Hellboy movie) have had to cancel their appearance due to new film commitments. They both send their apologies and look forward to heading over for a future tour.
With weeks still to go before the expos, and with so many more Supa-Star announcements to still to be made, it’s only going to get more exciting as the Sydney and Perth dates approach, with tickets already on sale through Moshtix.com.au.
