Supanova is proud to present interactive Parallel Wilds creative workshops in Melbourne this April!
Parallel Wilds is an immersive and empowering 3D platform featuring creative writing, digital photography and videography, cosplay and modelling, 3D and drone imagery, and sound composition. This innovative convergence of art forms allows youths to express their self-identity in the natural world and to create a speculative universe on the future of wilderness, all set in the year 2050!
Aimed at regional and metro youths aged 11-17 years, as well as University and TAFE students aged 18-25, participants will have the opportunity to create a ‘superhero to species’ as they design a 3D Speculative Universe on the Future of Wilderness. Get photographed on a green screen and embedded into the visual narrative of this powerful virtual story!
Delivered by creative director Craig Dent and videographer Justin Dallinger of Camera House in Albury, separate workshops will take place on Saturday and Sunday, while also allowing for time to enjoy the other exciting offerings of Supanova. Attendees will mind map, group write, design characters, and more, with the launch of the new ‘Supawild’ projects occurring at 3pm on both days. For more details on the schedule, check out the full timetable of Parallel Wilds activities below!
Tickets are strictly limited to each day’s four-hour workshop, so act fast to secure your young Supa-Fan’s place! Please note that workshop attendees will also need a valid Supanova admission pass in addition to a workshop ticket in order to gain access to the event.
