It’s Morphin’ time, Supa-Fans! The Adelaide Showground will morph into the home of Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, next month, as the convention makes its long-anticipated return to South Australia on 11-12 December 2021!
Adelaide fans will receive a double dose of Power Rangers, as Supa-Star Adam Tuominen returns alongside Glenn McMillan, making his first ever Supanova appearance on Sunday only! Starring as the Crimson Thunder Ranger and Yellow Wind Ranger respectively, Tuominen and McMillan are best known for their performances in Power Rangers: Ninja Storm, with subsequent guest roles in DinoThunder. Most recently, McMillan starred in the Logie-nominated Network Ten series Wonderland, while Tuominen featured in the 2020 biographical thriller, Escape from Pretoria, opposite Daniel Radcliffe.
Animation sensation Spike Spencer is also set to appear, marking his first visit to Adelaide with our pop culture convention! A prolific and acclaimed voice actor, Spencer’s performance as Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion has seen him return to the iconic role for decades – even as recently as this year, in the franchise’s stunning finale, Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.01 Thrice Upon a Time.
Meanwhile, Outlander’s David Berry finds ‘A Place To Call Home’ on our Supa-Star line-up, joining the team in Adelaide, this December! Launching to international stardom via his role as Lord John Grey, Berry was nominated as Most Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 2016 Logies for his work on Seven’s A Place To Call Home.

Finally, hot on the heels of their visit to Brisbane, Adelaidean comic fans won’t want to miss Supa-Star artists Stewart McKenny, Anthony Christou and Mark Raats! All ink-redible illustrators, McKenny is beloved for his picture-perfect portraiture, which is so unbelievably lifelike, you’d swear you were looking at a celebrity photograph! Christou is a fantasy illustrator, game designer and writer, best known for his Luminous Ages series; while Raats is the go-to poster artist for Lucasfilm and adjacent properties, having created beautiful promotional imagery for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, as well as the second season of The Mandalorian.
