To celebrate YouTube comedy pioneers Smosh joining Supanova for Melbourne and Gold Coast, we revisit some of their most hilarious videos to date. Before Supa-Stars Ian Hecox, Shayne Topp, Courtney Miller, Damien Haas, Sarah Whittle and Matt Raub touch down in March, here’s some essential Smosh viewing.
WHY WE’RE BAD AT DATING
Think you’re awkward? Don’t worry, you’re not alone! With Valentine’s Day just passed, Shayne and Courtney offer some relatable insight into why dating can be so tricky in this day and age.
EAT IT OR YEET IT
Two words that inspire fear in any diner: mystery food. Smosh’s Eat It or Yeet It has the gang snacking on everything from pepper-flavoured jelly to sushi boba tea, these videos will have viewers second guessing their lunches in everyday life. Served up inconspicuously, these dangerfoods are never easy to guess, the moral of these episodes being Do Not Trust Garett.
TRY NOT TO LAUGH
Try Not To Laugh is a Smosh classic, and this episode is a particular standout! Smosh’s spontaneity is by far one of their greatest charms, and this truly shines in Try Not To Laugh. Try as we might, we can’t help but laugh along with the stars as they try and hold in their own hysterics.
MYSTERY CROCS CHALLENGE
The ultimate shoe-related punishment on YouTube! Mystery Crocs would be a great game to play with friends, as even just as a viewer, it’s a lot of fun to try and guess what unusual substance will go into the shoes next. The only way to describe this series is… strangely satisfying.
FRENEMIES
More for the party game to-do list, here’s one to play with your closest frenemies. Matt and Sarah work towards conflict resolution in true Smosh style, playing some high stakes co-op. Just make sure you don’t find yourselves having to apologise for the things you said during Mario Kart…
HOT PEPPER MARIO KART
Speaking of Mario, here’s one sure fire way to spice up your Mario Party. The gang introduce an element of chance to the humble plumber franchise, where the loser of a given round is tasked with spinning the Lazy Susan of Chocolate, where they’ll be met with either a sweet treat or a ghostly, peppery demise.
You can catch Smosh at Supanova Melbourne (March 7-8) and Gold Coast (March 13-14). General Admission and VIP Packages for Smosh’s Try Not To Laugh LIVE show are on sale now via Moshtix.
