Teri looks forward to meeting all her fans in Sydney and Perth in June 2017.
Teri will participate in a general admission Q&A, and participate in signing and photo sessions throughout each Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm) in both cities.
Note: Teri will not be appearing on Friday in Sydney.
Teri Hatcher is an American actress, best known for her starring roles on television’s Desperate Housewives and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Growing up in Sunnyvale, Califonia Teri studied dance – taking lessons in ballet. She would later study acting at the American Conservatory Theatre.
Her first on-screen role was with the television series The Love Boat, as one of the “Mermaid” showgirls, Amy. She then went on to secure a recurring role as Penny Parker in the series MacGyver, and appeared on several other shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Quantum Leap, and Mad About You.
Her big break came in 1993 when she scored the role of Lois Lane in the Superman reboot, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She played the Daily Planet reporter, along side co-star Dean Cain until 1997.
Following the show’s cancellation, Teri starred as Paris Carver in the Bond feature, Tomorrow Never Dies, opposite Pierce Brosnan. Teri appeared in further films: Spy Kids, 2 Days in the Valley, Heaven’s Prisoners, Coraline and Disney’s Planes.
In 2004, Teri landed the role of Susan Mayer in the hit series, Desperate Housewives. She would go on to win a Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for ‘Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy’, and was nominated for an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series’.
She returned to the superhero genre with a guest starring role on the Superman reboot, Smallville, as Ella Lane.
She recently appeared in the series The Odd Couple, and has since continued the Superman trend, and currently stars in the recurring role as Queen Rhea of Daxam, in the CW series Supergirl.
Teri is also an author, having released her first book, Burnt Toast: And Other Philosophies of Life, in 2006.
