Thanks to the brilliant Hellboy II: The Golden Army being released on DVD December 31st we at Supanova were given an opportunity to interview one of the wonderful stars of the film (and past Supanova guest), Doug "Abe Sapien" Jones.

The Roll Out Begins for Supanova in 2009!

Our sabbatical is well and truly over and the Supanova team has been gearing towards our first volley of guest announcements for Supanova expos in Melbourne (March 27-29) and Brisbane (April 3-5).

That time is now so check out this link and the various guest pages throughout our site!

'Heroes' season three: 'Villains' has just gone to air in the USA and will be appearing on Seven very soon! Meanwhile, Supanova is supa-excited to present to you our one-on-one interview with Masi and Milo, in the first of a new series of video interviews from your favourite pop-culture expo! As dedicated fans, you probably already know the inside running on season three, so in Supanova's time with Masi and Milo we went for some 'unconventional' questions including some fan questions submitted by YOU, our forum members! We hope you enjoy the interview!
 
Heroes: Season 2 is now available on DVD and Blu-ray. Season 3 will air on Seven very soon! 

What's Supanova All About?

September 2008: Believe it or not, we get asked that a lot. Some people refer to us as a Sci-Fi show, an anime event, a comic-book convention, a gaming expo and lots of other things too. Realistically we're all of the above "and then some" too!

But why believe us when so many others have chosen to tell our story for us? So in the grand tradition of pictures saying a thousand words here's a few films about us through neutral organisations and then our very own coup de grace at the end.

2008 RETROSPECTIVE

11/12/2008 And so ends the first chapter in Supanova's newly created north-south, east-west calender with nearly 40,000 fans attending across the four events in 2008. Highlights included our inaugural Melbourne and Perth events, breaking the 10,000 barrier in Sydney and Brisbane setting the standard yet again with our highest yet attendance. Special mentions include Jewel Staite being our first guest to attend all four cities, Sean Schemmel for a record enhancing sixth Supanova tour of duty and Jarod Padalecki for breaking all records as fan favourite! 

We look forward to doing it all again in 2009 and thank you once more for making Supanova in 2008 a total blast!
